Yatzy is the dice game played across the Nordics: five dice, up to three rolls per turn and a fifteen-box score sheet to complete. Here you play against real people at 2-to-5-player tables, with matches that take about ten minutes.

The heart of the game is deciding which dice to keep and when to gamble on a third roll. Three of a kind, full house and straights score heavily, but the dream is of course YATZY: five of a kind for 50 points — and an upper section of 63 or more adds another 50-point bonus.

No account needed to try it: jump in, tap Play and you are seated at a table. If you later want to keep your history and chips, register with your email and continue on any device.

How Yatzy works in 30 seconds

On your turn you roll all five dice. Keep the useful ones and reroll the rest, up to three rolls per turn. You never have to declare before the third roll, and dice you kept cannot be rerolled that turn (though rerolling all five at once is allowed).

When your rolls end, write the score into a free box that matches your dice. If nothing matches you must scratch a box: it stays closed at zero for the whole game.
