🎲 Play nowYatzy is the dice game played across the Nordics: five dice, up to three rolls per turn and a fifteen-box score sheet to complete. Here you play against real people at 2-to-5-player tables, with matches that take about ten minutes.
The heart of the game is deciding which dice to keep and when to gamble on a third roll. Three of a kind, full house and straights score heavily, but the dream is of course YATZY: five of a kind for 50 points — and an upper section of 63 or more adds another 50-point bonus.
No account needed to try it: jump in, tap Play and you are seated at a table. If you later want to keep your history and chips, register with your email and continue on any device.

On your turn you roll all five dice. Keep the useful ones and reroll the rest, up to three rolls per turn. You never have to declare before the third roll, and dice you kept cannot be rerolled that turn (though rerolling all five at once is allowed).
When your rolls end, write the score into a free box that matches your dice. If nothing matches you must scratch a box: it stays closed at zero for the whole game.
Each box is used once per game. The upper section (Ones–Sixes) pays the pip total; at 63 or more you get a 50-point bonus.
| Box | Combination | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Ones–Sixes | Sum of the dice showing that number | the pip total |
| One pair | Two equal dice (highest pair) | pips of the pair (max 12) |
| Two pairs | Two different pairs | pips of both pairs (max 22) |
| Three of a kind | Three equal dice | pips of the three (max 18) |
| Four of a kind | Four equal dice | pips of the four (max 24) |
| Small straight | 1-2-3-4-5 | 15 |
| Large straight | 2-3-4-5-6 | 20 |
| Full house | Triple + pair of another number | sum of all five dice (max 28) |
| Chance | All five dice | the sum (max 30) |
| YATZY | Five equal dice | 50 |
After fifteen rounds the highest total wins; on an exact tie the player with the most YATZYs wins. The bonus (upper section ≥ 63) is added to the final total automatically — the maximum score is 374.
It plays from 2 players; online tables seat 2 to 5 and bots fill empty seats when needed.
Five dice and up to three rolls per turn; between rolls you keep the useful dice, which stay locked.
Three of a kind pays the pips of the three matching dice: three sixes score 18, and 5-5-5-5-6 scores 15.
A full house (three of one number plus a pair of another) pays the sum of all five dice, at most 28 for 6-6-6-5-5. Four of a kind plus a single die does not count.
When Ones through Sixes total at least 63 you get a 50-point bonus, added to your final total.
You must scratch a free box: it closes at zero for the rest of the game. After the third roll scratching is mandatory if nothing fits.
Five of a kind in the YATZY box scores 50 points. On a tied total, the number of YATZYs decides the winner.
After all fifteen rounds, when the boxes are complete: the highest total wins (374 is the maximum).
